It is Christmas in the school room
little voices raised in class
chant the alphabet in welcome
for the birthday come to pass.

A is for angels, the Baby is B
C is for Christ who is born just for me.

All the children in their class rooms
sing His praises loud and clear
sing the hopeful lesson now His
anniversary is near.

A is for angels, the Baby is B
C is for Christ who is born just for me.

When we children leave the school room
does our carol fade away?
Hear our voices, prayer and praising
louder still this Christmas day!
