Threshold
Written for the May Year 3 topic of
"Happy Meal or Threshold"
Rumination
Trepidation
Hesitation
Resolve has cracked.
Problems are stacked.
Body feels racked.
Motivation!
Stop stagnation!
Grasp salvation!
It's beckoning-
The reckoning.
Step, leap and live!
Happy Meal
'So is icecream included in the so-called 'Happy Meal'?'
'Well, Madam.'
'Do not 'Well, Madam' me. We came here for a good, cheap deal.'
'Well, Madam.'
'Just answer me before I tell your boss just how I feel.'
'Well, Madam.'
'Right, that is it. I've had enough of your rude, spiteful spiel.'
'But Mum, Mum,
'I don't want icecream 'cos the pancakes here are just unreal!'
'Hey, you there.'
'So are pancakes included in the so-called 'Happy Meal'?'
