Triolet - March Written for the January Year 3 topic of "Triolet"

As mad as a March hare. A proverb referring to the seemingly insane antics of male hares in the mating season (March) when they are seen bucking on stiff legs and boxing each other standing on hind legs, etc. (The Oxford Reference Dictionary)

As mad as a March hare,
Signifies my unbounded joy
With the world so fair
When other pleasures cloy.
As mad as a March hare,
Yet still I declare
That life is there to enjoy.
As mad as a March hare,
Signifies unbounded joy.
