Colin was an industrial lawyer, and if the UK weapons industry had a poet laureate, he has some claim to be the one, since he has penned poems to celebrate all sorts of company events over the years.

Now retired, he appreciates the challenge and discipline of writing a monthly poem, drawing on the many literary influences that have shaped his life.

A wordsmith by trade, free verse comes hard to him, and he gets special satisfaction from organised lyrical expression, strict rhyme and metre.
